Florence House

How we build, shown on the Waldo County Judicial Center in Belfast
The model shows the four stages every Ganneston building moves through, next to drone photos of the real courthouse going up.
- 01 Site
Pre-construction and site work
We settle estimates, budget options that keep the design intent, permits and the schedule, then prepare the site.
- 02 Steel
Steel frame
The structural steel rises on the new foundations while our team keeps every trade on one schedule.

- 03 Walls
Enclosure
Walls, roof and windows close the building in so the interior work can move ahead.

- 04 Finished
Brick, portico and handover
Brick and the columned portico finish the courthouse, and we walk the building with the owner before handover.

Choose the delivery method that fits your project
Public owners often bid the work as general contracting, while design-build gives you a single point of responsibility for design and construction.
- 01
General Contracting
Design-bid-build is often how public sector projects are delivered, and it carries extra accountability to whoever funds the work, so we hold to on-time, on-budget and safe completion.

Bucksport Health Center - 02
Construction Management
A full-service team from pre-construction through project closeout, handling planning, estimating, scheduling and the coordination of every trade on site.

KVCC Culinary Kitchen - 03
Design-Build
One contract and a single point of responsibility, from shaping a project that fits your needs and budget to managing design and construction from start to finish.

Unity Food Hub - 04
Pre-Construction
We work with you from the start on estimates, budget alternatives that respect the design intent, approvals, permits, schedules, subcontractors and materials.

Enda Drinkwater School Gym - 05
Metal Building Systems
Pre-engineered steel buildings for commercial, industrial, institutional and recreational use. As an authorized builder, every building we erect is produced in AISC-certified facilities.

ANG Admin Building in progress - 06
Historic Renovation
Renovation and reuse that follows Maine Preservation and the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards, which matters when your project depends on historic tax credits.
